Published pages
Let a bot publish a web page to its own public link on brainwrite.page.
A bot can publish a page it made, a single HTML file or a folder with an index.html, to a public link of its own: https://<page>.brainwrite.page/. Anyone with the link can open it. Ask the bot to publish the page; it replies with the link and a card in the chat.
Pages come with a Brainwrite plan. You can publish from the desktop app (signed in to your plan) and from your Cloud.
How many pages
How many pages can be live at once depends on your plan:
| Plan | Pages live at once |
|---|---|
| Starter | 25 |
| Pro | 100 |
| Max | 300 |
| Team | 500 |
| Business | 1,500 |
During the free trial you can have 5 pages live. Your plan's pages open once its first payment goes through; to get them now, choose Start Pro plan now (with your plan's name) on the page's card or in Settings (Start your plan now).
Unpublishing a page frees its place. If your plan ends, your pages go offline, and they come back when it is paid again.
On a Team or Business plan, pages published from the team's Cloud count against the team's plan. Someone in the team without a plan of their own publishes from their desktop app under the team's plan, and those pages stay with the team.
Updating and unpublishing
- Update: ask the bot to publish the same file or folder again. The link stays the same.
- Unpublish: choose Unpublish on the page's card in the chat. The link stops working at once.
What a page can hold
- At most 5 MB and 200 files.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, text, CSV, Markdown, Parquet and Arrow files, images (SVG, PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, ICO) and fonts (WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, OTF).
- Up to 30 publishes an hour.
The badge and reports
Every page shows a small Made with Brainwrite · Report badge in its corner. Anyone can use Report to tell Brainwrite about a page that breaks the acceptable use rules. Brainwrite reviews every report. A page that breaks the rules is taken down: its owner is emailed, and its files are kept for 30 days and then deleted. See Published pages in the Terms.
